The universe that we live in is bound by cycles and patterns. Some are more apparent than others.
One thing that is true about cycles of development is that they do not stay in place, whether we are advancing or regressing.
If our cycle of development is firmly set in one place, one dimension, we end up in a rut.
These are the musings of a mind trained in Mathematics, Martial Arts, Spiritual Discipline and Emotional Flexibility, applying these trainings in the realm where Physical Embodiment of Emotional and Spiritual principles is in a synergy with Emotional and Spiritual embodiment of physical principles.
In order to advance we must risk regressing. We must test our theories.
The Physical realm can give us insight into the emotional realm, because emotional principles can be expressed physically. Physicality can provide a vehicle to understand our emotional landscape. In this way we can verify our theories about these two seemingly different realms of being and we can clearly experience truth as something solid and real, rather than only an idea.
We can avoid being in an eternal rut.
As we return to the same point in a cycle, it isn’t actually the same point, it’s a new facet of the same idea.
The same idea with a new context. A new perspective. “If I knew then what I know now….”
There is no then. There is now.
Do we have new information? If we do, how are we receiving it?
If we have received it how do we use it?
The hell with technique. Are the principles sound?
When principles fail, it’s time to create a new foundation.
Tradition may be honored, but to be useful, tradition must evolve; forward….
The past is valuable; to understand where are, it is helpful to know where we have been, and then forward…
